Exerpts

I received your CD in the mail and I'm listening to it with great pleasure. Your music does have a sort of dream-like quality about it, and is very relaxing. It sounds as though you also are familiar with writing drum tracks, and you come up with some interesting rhythm patterns that propel things along without dominating the scene. Are these examples used as background music for movies or TV ? The pieces on the sampler you sent me have a similar feel about them--they all come from the same planet, though it is probably not earth...

Also I think there is a colorful aspect, or a visual one, about this music, implying certain scenes, but the visuals are rather abstract instead of earthly landscapes. There is often a feeling of flight, or gliding around, and most everything is in a minor key, not exactly sad, but sort of contemplative, in some cases, meditative, like monks chanting, but with the definint beat underneath that keeps things moving.

I like it a lot.
