Nasa speaks of black ore dark sand , to me the dark earea's are like liquid water where the sand is going into the deep and seems to our eye's as if it fade's into the black. Beside this it is wunderful to see the fractal like structure,s This is a crater floor, but when there was the impact that formed this crater, frozen ice ore the permafrost layer, below the surface could come up and stayed in a liquid form on the surface, creating small lakes. Later sand was blown in and remained around the higher parts of the craterfloor. |
